As the days grow colder and the nights are long, the rhythms of life naturally slow. Winter is the period of quiet germination necessary before rebirth and new beginnings can happen. The longer nights and colder weather promise a stillness that invites inner reflection, perhaps even growth and renewal. Winter solstice, the longest night, gives us an opportunity to explore and learn about resilience and hope in the face of darkness. Following the wisdom of our ancestors, the Solstice is an opportunity to break from modern life to come together in stillness and celebrate that more light is on its way.

Finding YOUR Balance as we move into Fall 

Each season brings its unique energy. Autumn, a busy time in preparation for Winter, is also a time of slowing.  As days grow shorter, we navigate the earth’s pull to slow and rest while soaking up the sun’s rays to store as days grow shorter and nights grow longer. Perhaps as we are actively enjoying the vibrant colors and activities of our fall days and nights, we long to lean into a different pace invited by the seasonal change.
